I’m lying in bed with my eyes closed, but I’ve been posting almost every day for two months now, so here we are.

I’ve been thinking a lot about direction lately. Back in 2022, I went on a trip through Europe to find great olive oil. I didn’t have a brand yet, I was just exploring—and documenting it. That moment feels pretty parallel to now. Not in magnitude but in both spontenaity and significance.

This July, I’m going on a 30-day road trip across the U.S., visiting farms, food producers, and anyone doing something interesting in the food world. And this time, I’ll be attempting to document it through daily video.

It’s not just about what’s trending or viral. It’s about stuff I actually want to get better at—things I care about and want to one day get paid for. Right now, that’s not always the case. But it could be.

I don’t have every detail worked out. I’ll need to figure out how to upload videos regularly to my editor. It’s not some polished campaign. But it is something I believe in.

Regarding farm visits, I’m especially drawn to farms during harvest season—whatever crop is in season, I’ll follow it. Maybe it’s blueberries in Pennsylvania. Maybe it’s peaches in Georgia. I don’t know yet. That’s part of the fun.

I’ll be at the Fancy Food Show for the next couple days, then aiming to hit the road around July 2 or 4.

If you know any farms I should visit, drop a suggestion. I’m open.
