The more I’ve been doing these video shoots the more I realize the ultimate currency for me is not the dollar.

The second I get to any venue I’m on the prowl. Sure my priority is technically to get a lay of the land and get an understanding of the layout to optimally capture content.

But the reality is my eyes are secretly looking for one thing and one thing only. The ultimate currency for me:

The Calorie.

And not just any Calorie. Donuts, Candy, and Cookies do nothing for me. Look I’m sure someone reading this is intrigued by these items but those who really know me can attest to the fact that I do not eat to live… I live to eat.

As I’ve somehow gotten into shooting at these high end events and weddings, I’ve honestly been eating like a king. Most recently at Casa Cipriani but let me say the Plaza, Liberty Warehouse, and Doral for sure did not disappoint.

The best part about today though was the strategy I implemented throughout the day. I ate breakfast right away — few scoops of Nutso 7 Nut Butter + 2 Eggs Over easy (which I’ve been cooking great recently for some reason… last week I honestly was doing microwave over hard eggs so I guess anything compared to that is a pure flavor bomb).

Lunch was skipped and after working out I had a quick No Cow Protein Bar. The risk I took was clearly a calorie deficient day, but the reward would be an incredible spread of food at tonight’s event.

And boy did that risk pay off. Not only was there a spread.

It was the spread of my dreams.

We’re over 5 minutes but quickly it was Israeli food with every dip, meat, and salad imaginable. I can’t keep saying “best eating experience” because then I’m turning into a NYC influencer that has to say every single thing they ate is the BEST SUSHI IN NYC but my goodness was tonight’s catered food a 10/10. https://www.instagram.com/levantinenyc/

Best Dip: Green Dip. Whatever the Levantine Green Dip was. I could eat a tub of that.
