Food at a Luxurious Wedding
The ultimate currency
Another 5 minute timer. Starts now.
I filmed content at a wedding today. Casa Cipriani South Street. Super Super High End Club. I believe Higher End than the other Cipriani locations that you are more familiar with like Wall Street and Grand Central Area.
Aside from the sick decor. I just need to give a shoutout to whoever planned the food for this event. Best I’ve ever seen and it’s not even a question!
The reason I say this doesn’t have to do with some elaborate set of items. Rather, every single bite was top notch quality.
To be honest I don’t know if I was supposed to be eating the cocktail hour food so if the company that hired me is reading this — please forgive me it was for the content!
Why this wedding had the best cocktail hour food I’ve ever had
The Shrimp Cocktail had a unique flavor and texture. Not by the way it was cooked or seasoned. The Shrimp itself was higher end than usual. Unsure the breed but it was sickkk
Sushi was great but I believe the steak sushi pieces were wagyu which had that melt in your mouth flavor that you wouldn’t expect at typical wedding venues
Parmaggiano Reggiano was out in cups all around the bar and cocktail hour. I expected the same old strong “fake” parm taste but I got a very subtle parm that made me realize that I’m eating good quality parm. Again, to do this at scale for a big wedding is costly. 99% of people skimp out — these people went for the real thing.
Bowl of Caviar Russe for everyone to enjoy. Legit Caviar. Single Estate German Caviar. SICK
I can go on with the perfect mozzarella tomato salad or duck tortillas with the utmost perfect texture.
But I hit 5 minutes. Accidentally 7:30 shhhhhhhhh

PS The Outdoor Cigar Bar connected to the cocktail hour room was such a cool vibe
