Homemade Pasta, Staten Island, & Knicks
A True NYC Friday
I’m not breaking the blog streak but am very tired and want to go to sleep. I set a 5 minute timer. Clicking send at 5 minutes.
way too much happened today to properly fit in in 5 minutes but given most of it happened on video eventually if you watch my YouTube stuff you’ll see it.
day started with a 1 hour trip back to Arthur Avenue to film for 3 hours inside this homemade ravioli and egg noodle shop. Tried freshly made ravilioli. What a treat to start the day.
I had to save my appetite though. I headed to other spots of Arthur Avenue I missed my first time around and was given free food after free food kinda hilarious that I didn’t actually want most of the food but rather just the video footage.
Anyway I did the full Arthur Avenue to Staten Island Trip which could be the longest straightaway NYC trip possible. Even though it was a hike, 10000000% worth it. Nailed 4 cool spots in 2 hours and got more free food than we knew what to do with. I was satisfied with the day at that point
but nope the Knicks decided to go on an absolute tear. when I lived in denver in 2023 I remember sitting in the gym thinking about recording footage outside ny stadiums after playoff victories
tonight was the first time the Knicks have advanced to the conference finals in 24 years.
called for some footage. I was super last minute on this decision btw I was about to head home but I heard the noise from the garden 2 avenues away and HAD to go.
i’m about to check the footage but just such cool stuff
probably not extravirginguy material
what a day, what a night
have a nice day
bye
