Why I'm going on a Road Trip

Starts tomorrow

When I decided to go to Europe in 2022 (when I started this blog), there was no one singular reason that stood out. It was a gut feeling with inputs that logically outputted the trip:

  • Desire to learn and teach about olive oil, boots on the ground

  • Rent-Free

  • Job-Free

  • 23 Y/O, Single, No Kids

  • No obligations for 50 days

And lastly a STRONG desire to see a part of the world that so few people in my world have explored.

Well, let’s compare that moment to now:

  • Desire to learn and teach about food production and harvesting, boots on the ground

  • Rent-Free

  • Job-Free

  • 26 Y/O, Single, No Kids

  • No obligations for 30 days, except a wedding in Atlanta

The difference between then and now is one thing: the video camera.

My main intention of the trip is not the first element of the list (desire to learn). Yes, curiosity is necessary. But the kicker is I’m investing 30 days into producing daily videos of my travels and what I learn along the way.

I saw way too many cool things and spoke with way too many amazing people throughout my 2022 travels. Now with an assortment of cameras, drones, gimbals, mics, etc — it’s important I spend my time bringing those stories to you.

While it’s a passion project, these next 30 days may be the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life.

There is no plan, and I 100% embrace it.

Let me know if you have any cool farms, distilleries, restaurants, hotels, or anything worth a visit in the Northeast. My itinerary is wide open but will consolidate rapidly. Any connection or even rec is greatly appreciated!
